Part 6: Transhumanism - Satan's strategy
The seeds of Transhumanism were first sown in the Garden of Eden. In Genesis 3 we see Satan promising Adam and Eve they would become ‘like God,’ by eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Having eaten the forbidden fruit, they were then banished from the Garden, so they could not eat from the Tree of Life, and ‘live forever.’
Whilst the Bible only gives us sketchy and imprecise information, it’s apparent from these verses that immortality, outside of God’s will, was literally within man’s grasp. All he had to do was to eat the fruit from the Tree of Life.
Although man was banished from the Garden, he never gave up hope in his search for godhood and immortality. And Satan has been all too ready to give him, on the face of it at least, a helping hand, although, as we shall see, he’s always had his own hidden agenda.
The days of Noah
Satan’s stragy begins to be uncovered in the strange, somewhat mysterious, and yet incredibly strategic period in the history of mankind, when Noah lived. In Genesis 6:1-4 we read:
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Fallen angels had intercourse with human woman, producing giant offspring, known as Nephilim. These were hybrid entities, that were part human and part angelic, and under Satan’s control.
Whilst it may sound exotic or bizarre, Francis Schaeffer, a theologian, philosopher and Christian thinker, has written:
More and more we are finding that mythology in general, though greatly contorted, very often has some historical basis. And the interesting thing is that one myth that one finds over and over again in many parts of the world is that somewhere a long time ago supernatural beings had sexual intercourse with natural women and produced a special breed of people.
In Genesis 6 we have the first recorded practice of genetic manipulation and modification, which today is once again at the heart of the scientific and technological Transhumanist agenda.
Derek Kidner, in the Tyndale commentary he wrote on the book of Genesis, suggests that this could have been Satan’s way of bringing immortality to earth. To the women involved, it would have appeared that the angels were ‘gods,’ and that godhood and immortality would be theirs by consenting to such sexual acts.
Satan may well have been endeavouring to bring immortality to earth, but there are deeper motives for what he was doing. His ultimate goal was to corrupt and contaminate the seed of the woman with his own seed (i.e. with that of the fallen angels), thereby changing the genetic make-up of the human race forever, with dire consequences for humanity. In this way he could:
Firstly, prevent the birth of the Messiah - the seed, which the Bible tells us in Genesis 3:15, would one day crush his head:
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel
Without Jesus there would be no Redeemer, the prophecy would simply fall to the ground, and Satan would survive. Arnold Fruchtenbaum says:
The events of Genesis 6:1-4 were a Satanic attempt to cancel out the prophecy of Genesis 3:15
Secondly, to replace the human race with a breed of fallen hybrid creatures, under his direct control. This would shift the balance of power from God and mankind to Satan and his followers.
Satan attempted to do this by using fallen angels and hollow promises of eternal life without the need of God or morality.
We learn more about this period from the ancient Book of Enoch, which is apocryphal in nature and probably the most important document outside the canon of scripture. It’s quoted directly in the letter of Jude, and was used extensively by many Church fathers. The Ethiopian Christian Church has included it in its canon, right from the time of Christ.
Enoch tells us that the fallen angels, known as Watchers, also passed on eternal secrets, resulting in an explosion of knowledge, previously unknown to mankind. They instructed the people in forbidden sciences, the making of arms, cosmetics, precious metals, magical medicine, astrology, sorcery, abortion, and so on. This formed the basis of the pool of knowledge, the occultists and secret societies have carried, and passed down, through the ages.
Enoch also tells us the fallen angels had sex with animals and this is where the hybrid creatures like Centaurs, Satyrs, Pegasus, Griffins, Unicorns, Mermaids etc., would have first appeared.
Stephen Quayle in his book ‘Angel Wars,’ says:
In truth, many of the creatures dismissed by history as mythological in nature may very well have been actual creatures rather than the creations of imaginative ancient authors
Enoch goes on to inform us that the offspring of the fallen angels, the giant Nephilim, began to kill and eat the human population. Without God’s intervention, the human race would have literally been wiped out.
In Matt 24:37 Jesus says:
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
It shouldn’t surprise us therefore, that once again in our own day, we see the human race and animals subject to genetic modification. Satan is clearly up to his old tricks.
The UFO phenomenon
It’s possible that the explosion in UFOs and alien encounter and abduction phenomena, from 1947 onwards (where the harvesting and tampering of human DNA appears to be a critical component) are another indication of a fresh incursion, not of aliens from other planets, but of fallen angels.
Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, had a dream about the End-Times, concerning the final empire that will ultimately pave the way for Antichrist’s global government:
And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay (Dan. 2:43)
The personal pronoun, ‘they ‘which shall mingle themselves with the seed of men, has caused Missler and Eastman in their book: Alien Encounters, to ask:
Just what (or who) are 'mingling with the seed of men? . . . It staggers the mind to contemplate the potential significance of Daniel's passage and its implications for the future global governance
We must consider that it could be, as some prophets now suggest, that fallen angels are creating super hybrids ready for the coming Antichrist’s army. Some suggest that Antichrist will be a Nephilim, sired by Satan himself.
Matthew 24:21-22 (part) says:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved . . .
It’s possible that Jesus was inferring that no human beings, as he created them, would be left.
There is more to glean from the account of Noah. Genesis 6:9 tells us that he was a just man, and perfect in his generations. ‘Perfect’ here does not mean sinless, but complete or whole (without blemish) - a reference to health and physical condition. The Bible uses the same word to describe the requirements for sacrificial animals.
From this we may infer that Noah was chosen to carry on and to restart humanity after the flood, because he was perfect in his generations. In other words, his genetic blood line and ancestry were 100% human.
It’s also interesting to note that the Bible says the animals ‘came to Noah’. This implies that God had chosen and sent them, so we can be sure that they too were perfect in their genetics.
At that time, the Bible tells us the whole earth became corrupt, full of violence and every inclination of man’s heart was inclined to evil. God intervened by means of the flood, to prevent the human race being lost as a species forever.
Unfortunately the Flood did not bring to an end the Transhumanist agenda. Today, with the increase in travel and the spread of knowledge via the Internet, we now find ourselves living in an occult technological global village, replicating conditions similar to those that existed in the days of Noah.
